I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Everywhere I look, a new bar or restaurant opens. On the buildings are murals that have given an artist a job. The murals are predominantly advertisements for alcoholic beverages. A Stella never looked so cool as it does on Driggs and Metropolitan. Scotches and Bourbons follow me down Bedford Avenue. Everywhere you turn there is the advertisement, the liquor store, and the bars. It’s the same deplorable marketing used in the ghetto, but some how we who do not live in the ghetto are immune?

We don’t need anymore sedatives.
